Important Information about Bansuri Tuning
The traditional Bansuri is mainly used in India as an orchestral instrument that plays traditional Indian music. The tuning of the Bansuri for this purpose is slightly different from the tuning used in the modern Western world. The table below shows the differences between the Indian tuning (Just Intonation) and the Western tuning (Equal Temperament).
